Week 44: SAINTS, SOULS, SUGAR SKULLS AND SCARES

For focusing on life this week the prompt was
SAINTS, SOULS, SUGAR SKULLS AND SCARES. I tried to take a photo of the fog Halloween morning as I looked out my driveway. I though that would be spooky but it doesn't show very well. I went to the science museum on Tuesday with my sister and some of her family. The youngest was Owen who is six. He wanted to see a real mummy. That would have been a wonderful scary pic but I didn't have my camera with. To see what the other participants posted go to Sally's website http://thestudiosublime.com

  1. We had fog yesterday, but for once my post was done and scheduled a day early... so no fog pictures... I've tried to take pictures of blizzards they didn't work either! I don't think there are any mummy pictures this week... or did I overlook one?

  3. Oooo - I think your foggy driveway looks perfect for this week's theme. Sounds like you had a fun family excursion too!

  4. It looks better in the thumbnail than in the photo. Yes I had a great day at the science museum.

  8. It was a foggy, gloomy morning here as well that day. As I drove to work that day I thought how fitting for Halloween....

  10. Yes, the mummy would have been super cool, but honestly, your fog picture looks like the start of a scary movie,...wouldn't want to be in that!! Great shot!

    1. Thanx Shel, I so wished I had my camera with for the mummy shot but I didn't think of it until it was too late. Sometimes I get to watch the fog roll in across the front field and that is cool to see.

    1. It kind of felt like the old movies with the fog. It looks better in the thumbnail than in full size.

  12. The camera can never seem to capture what the eye wants it too.

    1. I agree that the camera doesn't always look the same as my eyes see things.

  13. Looks like it's nearly snow! Yikes...I'm not ready for that yet. Hope you're having a bright sunny day like we are today.

    1. It was drizzling Halloween but, I have had measurable snow that stayed for a couple of days twice already. I'm not looking forward to winter.
